My most recent graduate started out reading 49 words per minute. That is not actually reading, it is struggling and frustrating for a child, their parents and teachers.
He has completed his course and now has a huge smile because he is reading 306 words per minute with 88% average comprehension!
Each day of class was a building block for the skills needed to become a great reader. He now likes to pick out books to read that he is interested in for pleasure reading, and not "baby books" as he now calls his former choices!
First I want to help you learn more about what your child may need and may not need to become a great reader and we start by answering your questions.
Take a look at "Poor Readers Symptoms List" on the left menu. You may want to count how many you check. I give parents complimentary, no charge, consultations. You can contact me below to schedule your free consultation to discuss your concerns.
There is still time to take advantage of summer classes before school starts.
I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for visiting today! CONTACT ME
